About Shima Moi
Photography came first.
It still shapes everything I create.
I’ve been a photographer for 20 years, and I studied Fine Arts and cinema before moving into brand content. That background shapes how I approach every project: through light, composition, movement, pacing and the details that make an image feel intentional.
I’m also a novelist, so I naturally think in scenes, sequences and story. My work is visual-first, using product use, gestures, close-ups, atmosphere and on-screen text to communicate an idea without needing to explain everything to camera. I work best with brands that value creative input and give me room to shape how the message is expressed.
